Shelfanger's refuse is collected for most residents every Thursday alternating each week between the black bin and green/brown bins. There are a few residents who live outside the village boundary but are still classified as being in Shelfanger who have their bins emptied on a day earlier.
The following link takes you to South Norfolk Council recycling, rubbish & garden waste yearly calender. Also there is a bin collection day finder on this page, where you input your village and street name to find out which bin to put out and next collection date: http://www.south-norfolk.gov.uk/environment/759.asp
Please use the bottle bank at the village hall to recycle your empty glass bottles as the Parish Council benefits financially. This will therefore benefit the village and also help to keep our council tax down.
