Green Deals

South Norfolk Council has successfully bid for funding from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and we have funds available to help Parishes promote the Green Deal to their residents. There is an opportunity for Parish Councils to receive £50 for each of the residents that they sign up to our Green Deal Scheme (limited by funds available and participation levels). The Green Deal is a ‘new way to pay’ for energy efficiency improvements within the home. The initiative provides a finance mechanism that enables residents to improve their homes with no upfront cost.
