October Village Hall news.

Dear Residents

Hello and welcome to the October edition of Shelflife.

It has been another busy month at the Village Hall with the opening of our new Community Cafe, The Big Quiz Night, a 50s & 60s Music Night and the new Table Tennis Club. All events have been popular and have raised mOney to help improve our Village Hall.

If you have any new ideas for future events or would Uke to organise an event, please let me know. A big thank you to Kay & Ed for organising the 50s & 60s night which was a fabulous evening!

It was great to see so many of you come along to the first Community Cafe and enjoy the games a bit of chit chat and the home-made cakes! Thank you to Ches for organising and Ann for working hard in the kitchen and to all who supported the cafe and made cakes. As the first cafe was such a success it will continue to run on the last Weds of the month, the next opening will be Weds 30th Oct.
